I live in the upper Midwest with a view of a Great Lake from my office window. I moved back to this area after living on the east coast for the better part of a decade. At the time it was mostly due to cost of living. Now I won't leave because I believe this area will be more resilient to climate change than a lot of other areas.

Since moving back I've gotten a Master's degree in Freshwater Science and I'm hoping to break out of my current career and into something more in line with my education. I see a real possibility my home becomes a climate refuge for a lot of people. But we've got a lot of work to do to get ready for that.
